My 17th birthday!!

My birthday was the best ever!! Brent picked me up for Seminary and then they surprised me with singing Happy Birthday "Seminary Style" haha! All the guys in the room have to get down on one knee and then they sing! It was way cute! Then, Brent's mom came and picked us up and then we went to his house. Then his mom told him to take me somewhere fun! So, we went and got gas and then we went to The Garret's house. With Jenny and Jayrod we went to Subway and saw the movie 17 Again! It was way good! Then we went back to Brent's house for a little bit. Then we went to my house for dinner and then he stayed to watch me open my presents! It was so much fun! Thanks Brent for everything!! :)

Rainbows & Injuries

Running to the phone this morning I got major floor burn and a hurt hip! This evening there was an amazing rainbow!! I guess good comes out of all things right??

Reflections of Camp

I've been thinking a lot today about Camp and how rainy and just stormy it was the whole time we were up there and then the day we come back it's nice sunny weather all day long. Obviously Heavenly Father was trying to teach all of us something up at camp. I'm not really sure at the moment what that was...maybe it was patience but I don't know. What I have learned though is that I am so grateful for what the pioneers did. I could have never been a pioneer. When it rained, snowed, and stormed all day they didn't really have a refuge like we had at camp. We were fortunate enough to be able to go in the cabins and have leaders take some of our stuff down and dry it for us. The pioneers for sure didn't have those kinds of resources! I have a greater appreciation for my warm house and refuge from the storms of life. I am so grateful for the Gospel in my life and the blessings that I receive from my Heavenly Father daily! I don't know where I would be without the Gospel. It has given me so much and the people that I have gotten to know through the church have been incredible. It is irreplaceable! I would like to thank all of my friends for all that they do for me...I couldn't do it without them! They're amazing! Love you all!

Girls Camp 2009

Here's some pictures from Girls Camp! We had a lot of fun but we struggled with a lot of rain and stuff! My testimony was strengthened greatly this year and I am so grateful that I went!

Uncle Silvon Kay Foster

My mom's Uncle Kay passed away on June 4, 2009. He was an amazing man just as the rest of his family! I didn't get many pictures but here's some of them!
